Staff very helpful and friendly. Easy self check in and check out. Good location

− Room is a bit small and the bathroom is kinda "connected" with the room. There is not wall between, just glass but open on top

The location is great. It’s in walking distance of Times Square and attractions. I also appreciated being able to have my luggage held before and after checkout. The staff was kind when I had an issue with my room, and assigned me a new room.

− I did unfortunately find a cockroach on my bed when I came back from dinner, so I had to switch rooms. The furniture and shower was also scratched up, kinda dingy, and looked like it needed to be updated.

Overall it was OK, but will probably never book here again.

The view and the location were very pleasant, surrounded by lots of small cafes, bars, lounges etc. 15 minute walk to center of Times Square (you can stop at local delis, coffee houses, cafes or small stores to grab quick bites and drinks on the way that makes the walk way easier. A cvs right across the street for quick necessities if you forgot to pack something or run out, target is a 5 minute walk away, the circle ferry line 10 minute walk straight shot from yotel (drinks and quick bites in the way for the walk).

− The bathrooms were not clean, the rooms led lights did not work, came back to yotel to watch the sunset but the power was completely out in our room ( we called maintenance and they came in about 20 minutes but they weren’t able to fix it ) we ended up having to pack our things in a pitch black room with our phone flashlights and be out the room in an hour . We were able to be moved to a different room however we were not properly accommodated (I asked if maybe we can get some type of discount for this inconvenience and they straight out said no be out the room in an hour to come pick up the new key). So we had to pack our things in the dark hoping we didn’t forget anything, go all the way down to ground level, then come all the way back up to a different room with all of our half packed luggage (it was dark and we were given an hour so obviously we could not fully pack / organize our bags and suitcases to fit everything how we would have wanted. The new room did not have electric blinds instead there were strings for each set of blinds and shades ( the queen corner room has 4 different sets of blinds each with a shade so 8 strings that had to be pulled manually individually to open). The led lights did worked in this room but the showers were filthy, the sink had dirt in it, the closet shelves were falling down, the ironing board was broken (it didn’t lock upward).
