8.0We stayed there for long weekend ahead of moving to property in Funchal. Excellent modern hotel with emphasis on sustainability. The only suggestion I'd make is when you book the pictures you see of the hotel with sea access is the sister hotel the Galomar. I thought we had booked this. Doesnt really matter as Galomar is literally 5 mins walk away.

10.0We had an awesome room with ocean view and were treated to champagne and a romantic set up as a welcome gift for our honeymoon. The Oceanside pool and spa was beautiful. The breakfast and dinner buffet had great variety and price was reasonable. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

4.0The room AC was not working during our stay. The hotel could not fix it and we could not sleep properly during our stay. The room given to us was a pigeon hole with a distant view of the sea and was totally different from the pictures shown before booking. Buffet dinner was terrible with a server named Sonia showing bad attitude. While the view outside the hotel and possibly some rooms may have good views, it was a very disappointing experience. Will not go back there or recommend it to anyone else either.
