9.0Location: perfect for our purposes! It’s not directly in the touristy centre so it’s nice and quiet at night, but it’s a quick walk to either Karlsplatz or Landstraße stations, and close to other bus and tram stops. It’s very close to St Charles church, the free Wien Museum, the Albertina and Albertina Modern, and the Operahouse among others. I really appreciated that the area wasn’t too busy and crowded but still accessible to the main sights. Cleanliness: absolutely spotless! It’s so clean, the staff do a great job. Comfort: very comfortable and modern design. The bed was really lovely, and the bathroom had a proper door which I appreciated. I also needed to work from my hotel room for 2 days and there was a very nice desk and chair for working. Staff: extremely friendly and efficient! They’re always available downstairs at reception to help with anything, and all the cleaning staff are also brilliant. Extras: we didn’t do this, but it was interesting that the hotel offers a private tour of the nearby concert house!
− The only thing was that the design of the shower makes it so the bathroom floor gets wet. It’s not so bad in rooms where the shower has a glass half-partition, but in rooms where the shower has two movable glass doors, the bathroom floor can get VERY wet.
